Lawrence, who plays his club football for League Two side Wrexham, is also 6ft 7" and this will be the first time Crouch has come up against a defender who matches him for height. It's a clash the Liverpool striker is looking forward to.
"If I am given the chance, I am sure I can cause them a few problems and I have proved over the last few games at least that I can do that with England," he said.
"They have got a big centre-half and I've never played against a player who is as big as me. It will be an interesting experience. But we're all confident going into that game we've got enough to get through - myself included."
