Crouch misses start of season

Crocuh picked up a three match ban when he was sent off in Southampton's game against Crystal Palace at the end of last season. He missed the Saints' final league game of the campaign against Man Utd but still has two games of his suspension to serve.
Liverpool's league game with Charlton will be postponed if the Reds reach the third qualifying round of the Champions League and the home game with Arsenal has already been moved because of the Super Cup so Crouch may not make his league debut until September 10th when the Reds visit Spurs.
