Beckham set up Peter Crouch to score England's second goal in their 3-0 win over Estonia on Wednesday night. Crouch has since praised the Real Madrid midfielder and urged Steve McClaren to keep picking him.

"It is fantastic for me that David Beckham is back," said the Liverpool striker.

"As soon as I heard of his recall I was pleased because I know he has got a fantastic delivery of the ball.

"He is probably the best in the world at crossing the ball.

"For me, personally I know if I get into the box and find a bit of space, invariably Becks will find my head.

"Should he carry on playing for England? If he keeps on playing like that and keeps on creating goals for me and the other strikers, I am all for it.

"When he gets half a yard of space, we know he is going to try and whip those crosses it and myself and Michael Owen can benefit from it."
