"I've dreamed about scoring a goal in the Champions League final. Now I can make that dream come true. I'd love to play in the final and score. I will be giving everything to make sure I'm one of the players out there in Athens," said the striker.
"One of the reasons I joined Liverpool was to try for achievements like this. They had just won the 2005 trophy when I arrived and I always believed that this club could keep doing great things.
"It's a fantastic club with a top manager in place to get results. Getting to the final again is a fantastic achievement but we need to go on and win it now."
