Curbishley fearing Anfield clash

The Addicks have lost five of their last six premiership games - including a 6-1 thrashing at home to a struggling Leeds United side. The Charlton boss is only too aware of how much his side must improve if they are to bring their recent poor run to an end at Anfield.

Curbishley said: "I've always maintained that, unless you have seven or eight players playing well in any Premiership game, you'll get hurt. We've got none at the moment so we could get really, really hurt - like we did against Leeds."

"Everyone would want to play us at the moment - whether they're at the top or bottom of the league. Leeds came here and destroyed us, then Birmingham destroyed us as well. It doesn't matter who we play."
