Dalglish faith in Cisse

The former Liverpool player/manager believes Cisse will become a major force once he acclimatises to the rigours of Premiership defending.

Dalglish said, “
It always takes time to adjust to new surroundings - just look at Henry and Pires-but Cisse is having to learn a different style of football. There are signs that he's beginning to get to grips with English football and with the close, physical marking that English teams love so much.”

And even though Cisse has had difficulty holding down his first team spot, as Dalglish points out, the Liverpool front man has still managed to score in both Premiership and Champions League matches.

“He's kept finding the net even though he hasn't found his best form yet. That should be a warning to a few teams coming up against Liverpool in the near future.”

"He's still learning how to play with Milan and Luis Garcia but he will flourish," Dalglish added.
