"Norwich City at Anfield on Saturday will be a test," he said. "You would expect Liverpool to win.

"It's a bonus to play at home but sometimes it can be a handicap because the onus is on you to go forward and produce something. It's not going to be easy in any way, shape or form. They are a well organised club.

"Apart from Nigel Worthington as manager, there is Doug Livermore coming back to Anfield. Steve Foley is the coach there and he has done very, very well and is highly respected.

"You can see the organisation on the pitch; the fact that they're not losing goals is a good sign for Norwich. It will be difficult for Liverpool to break them down."
