"Great effort and determination and pride in their own performance and more important pride and respect for the football club," said the Liverpool boss after the match.
"You don't get any success without working really hard and they realise that and have worked really hard.
"That's four clean sheets on the bounce, which is really important for us aswell and four victories so its a great compliment to the players and its a fantastic uplift for the supporters aswell.
"We're on quite a good roll at the moment and we're really enjoying it."
"We'll take each game as it comes along. The next one is Wigan at home and that's what we'll focus on during the week and if we keep winning games it'll add up to points at the end.
"Once they are added up it will tell us where we finish so we'll go to win and get as much as we can from every game we are going to play in.
"We've got our reward from this and our previous three games so that's where we stand at this particular moment in time."
