Dalglish, who enjoyed trophy-laden success both as a manager and player before severing his ties with the club over a decade ago, has made it clear that he has received no approach fom the club.
Dalglish said: "I have not spoken to anybody about any position at Liverpool Football Club.
"But if the club think I can help they just need to ask.''
