Davids set for Inter after all

Reports that the Dutch international visited Melwood in a whirlwind trip have been misleading, as he is now destined to join Italian giants Inter Milan.

The press were quick to link Davids with Liverpool and Tottenham when he said he would like to play in the Premiership.

But the rumours were shortlived and Inter will make a formal announcement in the next couple of days.
