But with Djimi Traore in fine form in the absence of Henchoz boss Gerard Houllier is unlikely to risk the Swiss star back into action, with a place on the bench the likely scenario in Holland.
Houllier said: "Stephane will definitely be joining the rest of the team in full training tomorrow.
"It will be good to have him back, although I must say Djimi Traore has been excellent. I don't think the defence has been a problem for us."
