Defender setting no targets

Liverpool defender Markus Babbel says he's not setting any targets as to when he expects to be fully fit.

After recovering from Guillan-Barre Syndrome, the German is now trying to build-up his fitness.

"I feel all right, maybe not yet ready for 90 minutes but I am getting better step by step," said Markus. "I was out for one year. I lost all my powers, my muscles, my energy. Now I'm back and feel all right.

"But I know I will have to work harder to regain my position in the side. That is the next fight for me.

"I'm not having treatment now, I work normally with the team and the only work I do in the gym is on my muscles but I am not having treatment for my illness anymore.

"The first training day was special, all the players said how nice it was to see me. Now I'm training and working with them as normal, all I am missing is a little power, but that will return.

"One week, one month, maybe. But I will be back."
