Degen injured again

The injury jinxed defender is out for another month. Degen picked up an injury in pre-season which ruled him out until the Carling Cup tie against Crewe. The Swiss international managed just over an hour of that before breaking three ribs which ruled him out for six weeks.
Degen made his second Liverpool appearance in Wednesday's Carling Cup defeat to Spurs in which he picked up a foot injury that will rule him out for another four weeks.
With Alvaro Arbeloa suspended against Bolton and Degen now injured Stephen Darby could make his league debut at the Reebok Stadium tomorrow.
