The Liverpool striker struggled to get into the game against Honduras on Monday but Del Bosque believes Torres will soon be back to his goalscoring best.
"Fernando is a great player, he knows really knows how to play on the limits of offside," said the Spain boss.
"He has just recovered from an injury but he looks on top form physically. Let's hope in the next match he can do more sterling work for our side."
