The 29-year-old German, who was understandably short of his best as he made a surprise return to the first team in the final fifteen minutes of the thrilling Carling Cup win at Blackburn, will be given another chance to regain vital match-fitness alongside Senegal star Salif Diao and Irish winger Richie Partridge.
