"I have some good news to report on the injury front at last," Diao told his official Icons website. "Following some intensive treatment on my calf injury, I returned to training last Monday and hope to be back in first team action in about a weeks' time. I've spent some time with muscle specialist Philippe Boixel in Paris, he's the guy who works with the French national team and Arsenal, and he has helped tremendously. I feel good and I've had no reaction to the injury since I stepped up my training programme.
"Unfortunately, our Uefa Cup game in Marseille on Thursday night came
round too soon for me but I should be back soon."
