DIC prepared to pay no more than £300m

Despite reports in the Sunday papers of a £500m bid, the Arab investors are only prepared to pay the true value of the club which is nearer to £300m.

If successful DIC, controlled by Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, have said investment in the team and a new stadium will be a priority.
