Didi disappointed with Bolton display

The 30-year-old midfielder knows only too well that three points from the last four Premiership games is simply not good enough for a side challenging for a Champions League spot.

Hamann said: "We are very disappointed to only draw with Bolton. We had enough chances to win the game but it's just not working out for us at the moment. It was a similar story in the derby last week. I don't think two points from those two games is enough.

"But we have got to look forward now. We have another important game on Wednesday against Manchester City.

"We had more chances but I'm not sure we actually deserved to win the game. Possibly it was a fair result. A few things went against us. We should have had a throw-in before their second goal and I thought we should have had a penalty early in the second half.

"But those things come and go for you. There's no point thinking about it now. We're not getting the results at the moment and we've got to sort it out. There's no point looking back at what might have been though.

"There are still plenty of games left and we're only two points behind Newcastle. We can still end the season in good form."
