Didi hopeful for the future

Liverpool's German midfielder is still being linked with a move away from Anfield when his contract expires this summer, but he is getting regular first team football under the new management, despite the arrival of Xabi Alonso.

"The priority here is the team and the team's success," said the German midfielder. "The longer we are together and the more we play togeter the better the team and results will get.

"The manager has proved it with the success he has had in Spain. From what I have seen so far I have no doubt he will be successful here.

"It's still early doors but I'm hopeful for the future."
