"I would say that technically he is still improving which is good to see, while tactically he is getting much more aware, too," he said of his captain.

"He is only 23 so there is much more to come from him, but overall I was delighted with our spirit.

"Sometimes we wore the dinner jacket, at other times we put on our overalls.

"We were flamboyant on occasions, and we dug in when we had to which helped us get a very good result against a very good team."
