Diouf delight for Houllier

The Senegal sensation led Houllier's Reds to victory at Ewood Park with three second-half assists in a sparkling performance full of all the skill and trickery that first brought the 22-year-old to prominence in last summer's World Cup.

Houllier said: "Dioufy was brilliant! That's probably his best position wide left, but I think it's better to play Harry Kewell down the left and Diouf on the right.

"Dioufy can play on the right as he has great skill and can beat players. At Blackburn he got his crosses in early and they were brilliant crosses for Emile and Harry."
