Diouf said: "Until the manager Benitez returns from the tour of the United States and I have spoken to him face to face I will not make a definitive decision on my future.
"I think I could have a chance if he gives me an opportunity. If that is not the case I will have to go on loan for a year, but I won't give up my contract. Things have been signed and all parties have to respect that."
