Kuyt's second half strike against West Brom on Sunday was his 15th goal of the season, his highest total since he's been at Liverpool.
"I have really enjoyed the season on a personal level and I'm glad I could be important for the team and score goals and give assists," said the Dutch international.
"I think my role in this team is different to my first season at the club. Now I play mostly on the right and I really enjoy it. I still get my chances to score and set up goals for my teammates."
