Don't believe the rumours

Rumour Mills everywhere will be going out of business after the Liverpool boss admitted that he was happy with the personnel already at Liverpool.

"I have no intention of signing anyone," he told the club's official website. "I trust my staff and my players and I know we have a good enough squad to achieve success. We showed that in the second half at Arsenal.

"I enjoy working with my players. We have been through a period of progress together and I always knew there would come a spell when we hit a sort of a plateau. But I've been pleased with their attitude throughout the bad patch. Some of them have been absolutely outstanding.

"I don't anticipate an opportunity coming up during the transfer window for me to sign a new player. I'm happy with what we have.

"I don't think anyone will be leaving either. If a player comes up to me and says he wants to go then the door is open. But not many players say that because Liverpool is a good club."
