Dossena wants to stay

The Italian defender was expected to leave during the summer, but a move to Napoli fell through and transfer rumours of a move to Juventus failed to materialise.

"I've heard a lot of rumours about my future this summer but the truth is I want to remain at Liverpool," insisted Dossena. "I'm happy with my teammates, with my coach and with the club. I have never wanted to leave."
