Dudek dislocates his elbow

Liverpool were looking to offload the Polish keeper after bringing in Jose Reina in the summer, but will now have to wait until January.

"Jerzy has a fracture-dislocation of his elbow," said club spokesman Ian Cotton.

"He saw a specialist on Monday afternoon and will see another specialist on Tuesday for further investigation. He will be out of action for three months."
