Dudek likely to be passed fit

Dudek suffered a gashed shin in the Carling Cup final and had to have ten stitches put in and there have been doubts over whether the Pole would recover in time for the weekend.

Scott Carson was pulled out of Tuesday's reserve game as a precaution but Dudek seems to be recovering and should take his place in the Reds' goal when Liverpool face the Geordies.
