Dudek upset

Dudek has not played for Liverpool since his heroics in Istanbul back in May. His place in the first team has been taken by the impressive Pepe Reina and now Dudek wants to leave to keep his World Cup chances alive.

Rafa Benitez will not let Dudek leave on the cheap however, and has slapped a £3m transfer fee on the European Cup winning goalkeeper to the irritation of Dudek.

"It's the latest lot of rubbish from Benitez. Even if he wants me to play for Liverpool again, I won't. I don't want to play for this club any more," said the Pole.

"Talking to Benitez again will just be a waste of time. I have decided to leave Liverpool and I won't change my mind. I am not interested in being the club's second choice keeper."
