Dudek wants first team return

Dudek has not played for the first team since his heroics in the European Cup final after breaking his elbow in pre-season training. However, after three run outs for the reserves and a place on the bench for the Anderlecht game Dudek is back to full fitness and ready to challenge Reina for the number one spot.

"If I get the chance I know I'm going to take it and do what Pepe [Reina] is doing just now," said Dudek.
 
"He has done very well because I know myself how hard it is to come to a new country and establish yourself.
 
"He's a very good keeper, but I want my place back."
