Dudek said that the strike for Morientes' goal against Charlton was so good no goalkeeper could have saved it and that it gave the other players the confidence to go on and win the game.

Dudek said: "We are very happy with the win at Charlton and everyone was pleased for Fernando to score his first goal and it gives him a lot of confidence now. It was a fantastic goal and Fernando did a very good job for us. It was a goal that was impossible to stop, a magnificent goal.

"We needed that win very much because Charlton were on the same number of points as us and it was a massive win. You saw the character of the team as when you are losing 1-0 it is always difficult and we tried to get back into it as quick as we could. I thought we played well and even in the first half we had some chances which we were unlucky not to score.

"It was only a matter of time before we got the first goal the way we played and that gave us the confidence to go and get the second goal."
