"If someone came in and offered us ridiculous money, then we'd have to be realistic about it," said the Blackburn boss.
"On top of that, if the boy wanted to go, it would be very difficult to hold onto him, but I can only repeat, we've had no offers as we speak.
"Ultimately, if the boy wanted to go and we got the right price for him, then I think we'd have to be fair to Damien.
"Everyone wants to play at the highest level and if he got the opportunity to play in the Champions League, then it would be very hard to say no."
