Following on from our exclusive report yesterday, the Liverpool Echo today confirms that Liverpool have made a fresh attempt to sign Blackburn Rovers winger Damien Duff.

The Echo, a P.R. machine for the club but a reliable source, reports that Liverpool have made a new bid of £10million in the hope of landing the Irish man before 31st August.
