The 11-year-old aristocratic heir to Britain's richest man wants to play for Liverpool.

Hugh Richard Louis Earl Grosvenor, the son of the Duke of Westminster, who has a personal fortune estimated in excess of £4billion, is currently having trials with Crewe but he insists he wants to play for the Reds, should he be given a break in the game.

Terry McPhillips, head of Crewe's youth academy, said: "He has potential. It's a question of seeing how they develop physically and technically."

The Duke commented on his son's dream of playing at Anfield. He said: "If he wanted to play for Liverpool, I would not stop him."
