Duo offered new contracts

Darby, who captained Liverpool to the 2006 FA Youth Cup win and the 2008 reserve title, and Spearing, who captained the Reds to the 2007 FA Youth Cup win, have been offered three year extensions to their current contracts.

The pair are expected to sign when the players return to Melwood for pre-season training later in the week.
