Early team news for Sunday's game

The Liverpool striker missed last night's UEFA Cup game in Bucharest with an ankle injury and will have a late fitness test before Gerard Houllier makes a decision.

Dietmar Hamann is also hoping to be back in contention for a first team place as he regains full fitness.

United will be without Paul Scholes, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Wes Brown who are all injured.
