"I played against him in pre-season when he was still at Feyenoord and I was very impressed. I wasn't surprised when Liverpool snapped him up," said Terry.
"Kuyt is very difficult to play against. He likes to hide behind the defender and come short. He links up with the likes of Arjen Robben and is very strong.
"He is very good in the air, is strong physically, is a good runner and can finish well, as we've seen."
