England drew 0-0 to a France side containing Liverpool youngster Carl Medjani but were beaten 5-4 on penalties on Wednesday. England face Mexico in the third place play-off today.
Medjani has captained France throughout the tournament and will hope to lift the trophy tomorrow when France face Portugal in the final.
