Goals from Sean Wright-Phillips, former Red Michael Owen and Micah Richards gave England a comfortable 3-0 win over an Israel side captained by Liverpool midfielder Yossi Benayoun.

Gerrard played 70 minutes for England before being withdrawn with the game won to keep him fit for Wednesday.
