Liverpool have been drawn in Group C along with PSV Eindhoven, Bordeaux and Galatasary. Although most people are predicting the Reds will ease through the group, Rafael Benitez says it will be difficult.

"The draw against Benfica last year is a good example," pointed out the Liverpool boss.

"I remember people said it was a good draw, but it turned out to be the most difficult for us.

"On paper, maybe this group does not look as hard as some others, but it would be very dangerous for us to think that way.

"PSV Eindhoven are a very good team, and Bordeaux had a fantastic season in France.

"Galatasaray are known to have one of the best atmospheres in Europe and it is always a difficult place to go. We must treat every team with respect.

"Of course, there are good memories for us in Istanbul. The more games you play in Europe, the more you will return to places and face players you know very well. That's normal.

"It will be good for us to go back to Turkey and see Vladimir Smicer back at Anfield."
