Everton chase former Red

The former Liverpool midfielder is back from a year-long knee injury and will struggle to regian his place in the side after the arrival of Robbie Savage at Blackburn.

But Rovers boss Mark Hughes insists he won't let him go that easily.

"Thommo is still coming back," he insisted. "He is an important player and gives us something different when he is on the ball."
