Everton turn down Berger

Everton were amongst a host of clubs expressing an interest in Liverpool's Czech midfielder, but now Manchester City and Portsmouth are favourites.

Berger's contract expires at the end of the season and he has already made it clear that his future lies away from Anfield after rejecting a one-year extension.
