EXCLUSIVE: New arrivals handed their squad numbers

Kop Talk can reveal that El-Hadji Diouf has been allocated the number '9' squad number vacated by Nicolas Anelka.
It was speculated that Diouf would receive the number '11' number but we can confirm that instead he gets the famous '9'.
Bruno Cheyro has been given '28' while Alou Diarra receives '31'.
Number '11' is still hanging in the kit room awaiting Lee Bowyer's arrival, unless of course the deal goes tits-up which will see us hand in our season tickets in disgust (Ed: Just a dig at those who don't want to see him signed!).
