Ex-Red calls it a day

The player signed for the Reds after moving from Inter Milan in 1997, and enjoyed a succesful period, scoring 17 times in 80 appearances.

But after arguments with then Liverpool manager Gerard Houllier in 1999, he moved to Middlesbrough. Now at Wolves, he will undoubtedly be hoping to conclude his career by helping the Molineux based team to Premiership promotion.
