Ex-Red has uncertain future

Owen now finds himself fifth choice at the Bernabeu after the signings of Brazilians Robinho and Julio Baptista. The former Red is now said to be seeking a return to the Premiership.

Liverpool have first option on Owen but Rafael Benitez is apparently not keen to sign him and this has left the door open for Manchester United and Arsenal.
