Ex-Red plays in World Cup final

Diarra was signed for Liverpool by Gerard Houllier from Bayern Munich on a free transfer but spent his entire Reds career out on loan. He only ever played 45 minutes in a Liverpool shirt, one half in a pre-season friendly against Le Harve in 2001.
