Next season's FA Cup final will take place on Saturday 17th May 2003, a week after the conclusion of the Premier League.
The F.A. want the cup final to be the last domestic game of the season again, as it used to be.
Spokesman Adrian Bevington confirmed the news. He said: "We have a firm commitment to ensure the F.A. Cup returns to it's rightful place as the showpiece finale in the domestic calender."
