Known throughout the world as the curtain raiser to the English domestic season, no other changes will be made to the event which Liverpool won this season after beating rivals Manchester United.
"The Shield is unique in world football both as an event and a symbol and we have significant plans for the way in which we intend to use the name and symbol of the Community Shield in the future," said the F.A.'s Director of Marketing, Paul Barber.
