FA spokesman Adrian Bevington said: "We want to see people who throw missiles arrested and prosecuted by the courts to prevent them from watching football."

Hyypia was seen to pick up a coin and hand it to an official as he left the field of play after receiving a red card in the Old Trafford fixture. The FA insist that action will be taken if the allegations are proved to be correct.
