Fans turn on owners

Throughout last night's 5-0 hammering of Luton in an FA Cup third round replay, the Kop kept up chants of 'You don't care about the fans, Liverpool football club, it's in the wrong hands' and 'Two lying bastards' as well as constantly singing the name of Rafael Benitez.

There were also banners with 'Dubai SOS- Yanks Out' and 'Thanks Yanks! More friendly fire' in the ground as the fans expressed their displeasure with George Gillett and especially Tom Hicks following the latter's interview in the Echo where he admitted the duo had offered the manager's job to Jurgen Klinsman.
