'Faster Than Owen' was in action yesterday and put in a great attempt to try and win her 500 metres flat race.

The young bitch owned by 8-year-old Liverpool supporter Charlotte Oldham had her route blocked for most of the race but pushed at the final run in and came neck and neck over the winning line with Jall Abbie which resulted in a photo finish only for her to be deemed as 2nd.

Meanwhile 'Bootroom Boy' is in action on Friday evening following his win last weekend on his racing debut. The pup has been penalised for his A5 win and steps up into a harder A4 graded race.
